Zelleria oleastrella

(Millière, 1864)

Only a handful of records of this southern European species have been recorded in Britain to date.

It was first recorded in 2006 when four were taken in June at light - two on St. Mary's, Isles of Scilly, and singles in Weymouth and East Lulworth, Dorset.

The photos shown are believed to be the fifth British record, of one taken at MV light in Highworth, Wiltshire on 18th October 2015.

The larvae mine the leaves of Olive.
